Gotta try it if u are hanging out on Beale street. The food is great, the drinks are stout, and the music is great.
A great local place that's worth the trip Reviewed by jmeden2000 on

On a first time trip to Memphis, Kings Palace Cafe caught my eye quickly as I was walking the city streets. In search of a high quality local restaurant, Taking a chance as I judged it on looks alone, boy was I in for a treat. A very diverse cajun menu with specialties in gumbo and etouffee was very hard to choose from, every dish is worth trying. After I took my first bite of shrimp and crawfish, I knew that this was the right place for me! If you enjoy classic cajun cooking and a lively atmosphere, Kings Palace Cafe is a MUST!
Pros: Very diverse menu, quick service and a welcoming atmosphere
Cons: Somewhat pricey

While walking down Beale Street, Tony's trumpet playing drew me and my friends inside, and my taste buds have never been the same!!!!!!! A Complete culinary delight. In Chicago Terms (Some Damn Good Food).
